Use Nagios to Monitor VThunder

Does anyone know how I can use nagios to monitor the vthunder server?
can I just treat it like a normal linux box.

    Hi Cairnsbyrce,

    Sure you can. I am not sure what you need to monitor within vThunder but you can implement basic and advanced monitoring.

    For basic Nagios monitoring we have standard ping, SSH and VIP healthcheck scripts you can use as well as SNMP to check server or VIP status.

    For the advanced monitoring features, we have some python scripts of aXAPI checks. If you want to get a hold of the advanced Nagios scripts, send a request to your regional SE.
