BGP peering between 1030S and Juniper problem ?

ivdoudenivdouden Member
Is their a known issue setting up BGP peering between (ACOS) version 2.7.1-P1
and juniper. On our 1030S i couldn't set up eigrp connection between us and a pair of juniper routers from our serviceprovider.
We kept getting this in sh ip bgp neighbors.

Connections established 0; dropped 0
Capability error: unknown capability code 64Last Reset: 00:00:00, due to BGP Notification sent Notification Error Message: (OPEN Message Error/Unsupported Capability.)

I tried setting up the same connection between the A10 and our cisco VSS core and it came up without a problem. Same between our cisco and the junipers of outr servieprovider.

I am not aware on any BGP peering issues between ACOS and Juniper but I suggest that you open an A10 Support ticket with this issue. Please share the support ticket number and I will be happy to follow up with our support group with a resolution.
