Staging code on local device for upgrade

Good morning! We have several ADC devices that are scheduled for a code upgrade, some in far remote locations that are only accessible through trans-Atlantic WAN links. Is there a way to copy the code image file to the local device and install it from the device itself rather than specifying a remote location from which the device will copy the image file during the code upgrade process?

    Got verification from a support engineer that A10 does not support staging code locally for upgrade purposes. So there's that answered! :)

    Just a thought here - ACOS allows for 2 separate boot image locations: primary and secondary. Would it be viable to upload the new code to the inactive boot location? Then for your scheduled upgrade you would need only switch the bootimage location, and execute the reboot. Just be sure you've linked the same startup-config profile to both locations.

    Alternatively, downloading the code from a jump server in closer proximity to the A10 is another option, but not always available.
