Hello,

I’m trying to upgrade A10 1030S from 2.7.2 to 4.1.4

I’ve tried:

- ACOS\_non\_FTA\_4\_1\_4-GR1-P14\_42.64.upg
- ACOS\_non\_FTA\_4\_1\_4-GR1-P12\_57.64.upg
- ACOS\_non\_FTA\_4\_1\_4-GR1-P4\_47.64.upg

with all files above returns the bellow error “Failed to expand the upgrade image”

Getting upgrade package …
…0 minutes 14 seconds
Done
Checking the integrity of the upgrade file…
Failed to expand the upgrade image

thanks

Can you check the messages in “show log” for errors? Also, check free disk space with “show disk”.

Looks like plenty of disk. I am not familiar with that TAR error. Could you try downloading the upgrade image again? Also, can you try using the Web GUI to perform the upgrade?

Also note that the 2.7.2 to 4.1.4 upgrade guide calls this out:

> [@](#):
>
> To perform an upgrade to ACOS Release 4.x using the GUI, you must start with Release 2.7.2-P3. Earlier releases are not supported.

I’ve attached the full guide for your reference.
