software is not updated. Error Communication error with LB process

SergeyMSergeyM Member

Colleagues, please tell me, maybe someone has already encountered such a problem.

after software update, 5.2.1 or 4.1.4 to Funder

the system does not boot to the end, constantly in this mode:

ACOS(LOADING)

ACOS(config)(LOADING)#int management

Communication error with LB process

ACOS(config)(LOADING)#

ACOS(config)(LOADING)#int man

ACOS(config)(LOADING)#int management

Communication error with LB process

ACOS(config)(LOADING)#

If you leave, and wait until it is loaded, not an help, i waited 20-30 minutes for the same result.

At the same time I tried to boot from two different disks pri and sec:

Booted from Hard Disk secondary image

 ACOS(LOADING)#sho version

 Master:Communication error with LB process

Hard Disk primary image version 5.2.1-p1, build 56

Hard Disk secondary image (default) version 5.2.1-p1, build 56

What kind of hardware platform is this, or is it virtual?

This is not a virtual platform, but a hardware solution:

    TH14045.

  • SergeyMSergeyM Member

    Any ideas?

  • mdunnmdunn Member ✭✭

It looks like the primary and secondary disks are the same ACOS version. Can you try booting from the Compact Flash to see if this restores the device?

  • SergeyMSergeyM Member

It not helps, continues to load from the hard drive.

      Am I doing something wrong?

This is how I went into flash boot mode:

    1)

    ACOS(config)(LOADING)#bootimage cf pri

grep: /a10data/etc/Release: No such file or directory

Primary image will be used if system is booted from compact flash

    2)

    ACOS(config)(LOADING)#wr memory

System not yet ready. Cannot save configuration.

    ACOS(config)(LOADING)#

  • I had the same problem with AX 3030S ADC.

Do you resolved it, yet ?

  • SergeyMSergeyM Member

No, my problem has not been solved yet.

  • "[UNSUPP] Starting of Arbitrary Executable Fi...m Automount Point not supported."

I don't think your hardware is supported by version 5.2.1. Best call A10 support to be sure

  • Hi Sergey M,

Please show me the detail of step 1 to 6. Now I can not connect and config the mgmt interface (can connect from console), so how can I upgrade new firmware. Thank you very much.
